DEAD TROOPER's Cover Version Of SEPULTURA's 'Slave New World' Posted Online

Oslo, Norway-based metallers DEAD TROOPER have uploaded their cover version of the SEPULTURA classic "Slave New World". You can listen to it in the YouTube clip below.

Commented DEAD TROOPER vocalist/guitarist Morten Müller: "SEPULTURA, man, they were like concrete man, like an eternal wise grip of speed and concrete. If you don't get old-school SEPULTURA, it's not born in you... you either get it or you don't, that's what I gotta say, godammit. I mean, if you can find someone who can out-scream Max Cavalera, I'll bow down to your feet on a good day, man. "

DEAD TROOPER's version of "Slave New World" was recorded during the sessions for the band's new album, "Cynicist", which was released late last year in digital format.

DEAD TROOPER's new lineup — featuring the band's brand new rhythm section of Jon-Erik Bokn (ZEROZONIC) on drums and Tor R. Stavenes (1349) on bass — made its live debut on June 12, 2009 at Musikkflekken in Sandvika, Norway.
